Can I send karma privately on MS Teams?

Yes — Karma has a built-in private mode when sending karma in MS Teams.

1. Open the Karma extension in any channel or chat.
2. Fill in the recipient, score, value, and description as usual.
3. Before submitting, check the Private checkbox at the bottom of the form.
4. Hit Submit.

When sent privately, the karma still registers and appears in the recipient's feed and on the leaderboard — but it is not broadcast to the channel for everyone to see.

In the Karma Feed, privately sent karma shows a lock icon next to the entry, indicating it was sent privately rather than posted publicly to the channel.
