Billing: A complete guide to managing your payment details and invoices

The Billing page provides you with all the necessary tools to manage your account's subscription, payment methods, and invoicing history. This section ensures you stay updated on your payment schedule, review past transactions, and update your billing information as needed. This guide will walk you through how to navigate the Billing page, manage payment details, and cancel or update your subscription.

Navigating to the Billing page

To access Billing, log in to your account. In the header, click on the dropdown menu, then select Billing management. This will take you to the Billing page, where you'll be presented with an overview of your current plan, billing history, payment details, and the payment method associated with your subscription.

Overview of subscription plan

The Overview tab on the Billing page provides a snapshot of your current subscription plan. You can see:
- Your plan details: Information about your current plan (e.g., Pro Account plan, Annually).
- Seat count: The number of seats included in your plan and a link to manage users.
- Next payment date: The date of your next subscription charge and the total amount that will be billed.

Additionally, this section includes details about your billing method:
- Billing email: The email address to which invoices are sent.
- Payment method: The credit card or payment option linked to your account. You can change your payment method at any time by selecting the Change payment method link.

If you wish to stop your subscription, click Cancel Subscription. You will receive a prompt asking for confirmation, and if you proceed, your subscription will end on the date specified without any further billing.

Reviewing billing history

The History tab on the Billing page contains a detailed record of your past and upcoming payments. For each invoice, you will see:
- Date: The date of the charge or upcoming invoice.
- Description: A brief explanation of the payment (e.g., invoice number, upcoming charge).
- Total amount: The total cost billed or due for payment.
- Status: Whether the invoice has been paid, is pending, or is upcoming.

To view more details about a particular invoice, click on the See more details link next to each entry. This opens a detailed breakdown of the payment, including credits, discounts, and the total amount due.

Managing billing details

In the Billing details tab, you can update the following:
- Contact information: The email address to which invoices are sent.
- Billing address: Update your billing address to ensure that invoices reflect the correct company or personal details.

Simply enter the updated information and click Save address to apply changes.

Updating your payment method

The Payment method tab allows you to review and edit the payment method linked to your subscription. The current payment method, including the last four digits of your credit card and the expiration date, is displayed here.

To update your card or payment details, click the Edit button and enter your new payment information. The system uses Stripe to securely process and store your payment data.

Canceling or updating your subscription

If you decide to cancel your subscription, you can do so from the Overview tab. Simply click the Cancel Subscription button. A dialog will appear, confirming:
- Subscription end date: Your subscription will continue until the end of the current billing cycle (e.g., Aug 8, 2025).
- Reason for cancellation: You may be asked to provide a reason for canceling, which helps the team improve the service.

You will not be billed after the end date if you choose to cancel, and your account will retain access until the subscription period expires.

Final thoughts

The Billing page is an essential tool for managing your account's financial aspects. From tracking payments and updating payment methods to reviewing invoices and canceling subscriptions, the Billing section gives you complete control over your subscription. Make sure to keep your billing details up to date to avoid any service interruptions and ensure smooth, timely payments.

Stay in control of your billing and subscriptions with ease!
